Pork Stew with Sautéed Spicy Shrimp Paste

A classic Filipino dish called “Binagoongang Baboy. This dish is often served in feasts and grand celebrations in local towns and villages. The key ingredient of this dish is the shrimp paste or the “Bagoong.”

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 kg pork loin
  • 2 tbsp. oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp. canola oil
  • 1 tbsp. shrimp paste
  • Pepper to taste

Procedure:

  1. Marinate pork loin with oyster sauce and pepper. Adjust measurements according to preferred taste. 
  2. Heat the pan with canola oil. Cook marinated pork loin until golden brown. Add shrimp paste, sauté until evenly mixed with pork. Cook for about 5 minutes.

Serve and enjoy!
